My friends have gone into a haunted house and, since I cannot go through it myself, I have gone ahead and left for home. I have my cell phone and plan on calling them when I think they are through the haunted house. I am going through my purse to see if I have money for a bus when I realize that I need to break a dollar to make this easier for myself. I go into a store that is apparently closed but there is a vending machine towards the back and I decide to go see what they have. I find a popsicle and buy that but then want a fudgsicle too. I don't know why. The machine looks archaic and the popsicle I already hold looks as they it was at least partially melted and refrozen. Nevertheless, I keep digging and finally find a dollar but that is when I realize that the machine doesn't take paper money. This confuses me because I am not sure how I managed to get the popsicle if I didn't use paper money and I begin to distrust the whole process, decide I had better start walking if I hope to get to the bus stop.
