I am going into the back yard with Romanov when I see a rather large tiger cub. It is not big for a cub but it definitely not a newborn. It is walking away, between our house and neighbors' when Romanov notices the animal's movement. At the same moment, the tiger notices Romanov. I say, "Romanov! NO!" but it is too late. He bounds first a couple of leaps toward the tiger and then runs away towards the back of the house and around. The tiger zips after him and I slowly make my dizzy way down the steps of the deck and, moving as quickly as my vertigo would allow, moved my way along the side and around the back of the house where I saw Romanov and the tiger playing, the tiger with it's heavy paws around Romanov and licking his face with a long rough tongue. Romanov is playfully rolling onto his back, trying to push off the tiger.
