Rob and I are walking to the car and he opens the door for me, as he typically does.  Before I even start getting into the car I hear him say, quite loudly, "God damn it!"  I look over and see what he has already seen--the driver's side of the car is wide open, the window smashed in. Someone has broken into the car and we are both standing there stunned.
