My "daughter" and I are walking down the street when we see this funny person trying to get on a bus with his bike and child. We help them onto the bus and somehow get stuck on the bus when the doors close behind us. I dig through my purse trying to find money for the bus but I only have a $5 and a $20. The bus ride is only $1 and I have to pay for myself and my daughter. I walk past the strange person, a withered older man who looks very weak and possibly sick, and ask my daughter if she has any money. She does not. I return to the front of the bus and am about to ask that we both be removed at the next stop when I realize that we are on the highway already, hurrying to wherever the end of the bus line is. I ask the bus driver if I can give her a $5 and if my daughter and I could please stay on the bus for its return trip. Luckily for us, she is going to be driving the bus back and agrees. Although I will still lose a dollar in this transaction I tell my daughter the good news and promise her that when we get back to where we belong, even though it will be very late, we'll find somewhere to eat and I'll buy us both dinner. In the back of my mind is the nagging thought that I only have $20 and I need to make that last but the grateful look on my hungry child's face is more than enough motivation for me to take the chance on spending the last of our money.

My daughter in this dream is nothing like my real life daughter. This "daughter" was blonde with a rather palid face, downright waif like.
