I am back in the office where I used to work and I realize that nobody there even remembers me. I walk around seeing people I recognize but they either ignore me completely or look away. As I am leaving I notice that the desk where my replacement would be sitting is empty, that she hasn't been showing up for work, and probably won't be replaced. As I go by her desk I steal a crossword puzzle magazine and take it with me as I leave.
